How much do piano lessons cost?
I offer 10% discount for paying in advance for a block of 5 lessons which most of my students choose to do. Please see standard prices for my fees for booking individual lessons.
Lessons Blocks
My prices for one-to-one lesson blocks from 01/01/2026 are as follows:
Grades 1-8 (including beginner lessons and jazz piano)
- 30 minute lesson: £15.75 (If you pay £78.75 in advance for a block of 5 lessons)
- 60 minute lesson: £31.50 (If you pay £157.50 in advance for a block of 5 lessons)
Post grade 8 (advanced diploma level)
- 30 minute lesson: £18.45 (If you pay £92.25 in advance for a block of 5 lessons)
- 60 minute lesson: £36.90 (If you pay £184.50 in advance for a block of 5 lessons)
Standard prices
My prices for individual lessons from 01/01/2026 are as follows:
Grades 1-8 (including beginner lessons and jazz piano)
- 30 minute lesson: £17.50
- 60 minute lesson: £35
Post grade 8 (advanced diploma level)
- 30 minute lesson: £20.50
- 60 minute lesson: £41
Lesson arrangements
I accept payment for each lesson individually or payment in advance for a block of 5 lessons by bank transfer. Prepaid lesson blocks are non-refundable.
30 minute piano lessons are suitable for most beginners and children and are normally done on a weekly basis. However, I can also offer 60 minute piano lessons on either a weekly or fortnightly basis which may suit some students studying grades at a high level or those wanting to learn jazz piano. For siblings I will endeavour to arrange lessons back-to-back (30 minutes each), however this cannot be guaranteed. I do not offer any further discounts for siblings.
Lessons can be arranged throughout the year (including school holidays) and will generally be booked for the same time slot each week/fortnight. All lessons are delivered from my home studio in Swindon.
